Curt Fentress Among the 150 Most Notable Coloradans

To celebrate Colorado’s 150th anniversary, The Denver Post identified 150 of the state’s most influential and notable people based on community input. The list recognizes Coloradans whose contributions shaped the state’s culture, history and identity and reflects a diverse range of fields, achievements and perspectives that helped make Colorado what it is today. 

Curt Fentress, founder of Fentress Studios, a Populous Company, in Denver, was included for his significant contributions to the design of iconic civic and transportation projects around the world. His Colorado portfolio includes Denver International Airport, the Colorado Convention Center, Denver Art Museum, Ralph L. Carr Colorado Judicial Center and Empower Field.

Other notable names on the list include Madeleine Albright, former U.S. Secretary of State and diplomat; Molly Brown, Titanic survivor, philanthropist and social activist; John Denver, singer-songwriter and environmental activist; John Elway, Pro Football Hall of Famer and former Denver Broncos quarterback; Condoleezza Rice, former U.S. Secretary of State, academic and national security expert; and Steve Ells, founder of Chipotle Mexican Grill and entrepreneur.
